Managing Topics
The Topics page provides a central view of all your conversation topics with tools for searching, filtering, editing, and tracking usage.
Viewing Topics
All topics are displayed as cards in a responsive grid. Each card shows:
- Category badge — The topic’s category label
- Title — The topic name
- Content preview — First few lines of the topic prompt
- Usage count — How many times the topic has been used in conversations
- Profile count — How many profiles have this topic assigned
Searching and Filtering
Use the controls at the top of the page to find specific topics:
- Search — Filter topics by title or content text in real time
- Category filter — Select a specific category from the dropdown, or choose “All” to see everything
Editing Topics
Click the edit icon on any topic card to open the edit dialog. You can modify:
- Title, content, category, and tags
- Active/inactive toggle
- Use the AI assistant to refine content
- Use Polish with AI to restyle existing content
Changes take effect immediately. Any active schedules using the topic will pick up the updated content on their next run.
Deleting Topics
Click the delete icon on a topic card. A confirmation dialog appears warning that deletion will:
- Remove the topic content from all profiles
- Reset associated statistics
Deleting a topic is permanent and cannot be undone. In-progress conversations are not affected, but no new conversations will use the deleted topic.
Topic Assignments
Topics can be assigned to individual profiles and included in schedules:
- Profile assignments — Assign topics directly to profiles from the profile’s detail view. The profile count on each topic card shows how many profiles have it assigned.
- Schedule assignments — Select a topic when creating or editing a schedule. The schedule uses that topic for its automated conversations.
Tracking Usage
The usage count on each topic card shows how many times that topic has been used across all conversations. Use this to identify:
- High-performing topics — Topics with high usage that drive engagement
- Underused topics — Topics that might need better content or broader assignment
- Stale topics — Topics with zero usage that can be revised or removed
