Getting StartedCreate Account

Create Account

Community Swarm supports two authentication methods: wallet-based sign-in (recommended for Web3 users) and email/password. Both methods give you full access to the platform. After creating your account, you will set up your first organization β€” the workspace that holds all your profiles, servers, and configuration.

Wallet-based authentication uses your crypto wallet to sign a message that proves ownership. No password is needed β€” your wallet signature is your credential.

Connect Your Wallet

Navigate to communityswarm.comΒ  and click Sign In. On the authentication page, click Connect Wallet.

Community Swarm supports wallets through WalletConnect and browser extensions like MetaMask. Select your preferred wallet provider and authorize the connection.

Sign the Verification Message

After connecting, you will be prompted to sign a verification message. This is a gasless signature β€” it does not cost anything and does not create a blockchain transaction. It simply proves you control the wallet address.

Review the message in your wallet and confirm the signature.

Account Created

Once the signature is verified, your account is created automatically. You will be redirected to the dashboard. Your wallet address serves as your unique identifier β€” no email or password required.

Wallet authentication uses a standard EIP-4361 (Sign-In with Ethereum) flow. Your private key never leaves your wallet. Community Swarm only receives the signed message to verify ownership.

Email and Password Authentication

If you prefer traditional authentication, you can sign up with an email address and password.

Open the Sign-Up Page

Navigate to communityswarm.comΒ  and click Sign In, then select Sign up with email.

Enter Your Details

Provide a valid email address and create a strong password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include a mix of letters and numbers.

Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email from Community Swarm. Click the verification link to activate your account. The link expires after 24 hours.

Return to the sign-in page and enter your email and password. You will be redirected to the dashboard.

If you do not receive the verification email, check your spam folder. You can request a new verification email from the sign-in page by clicking Resend verification.

Setting Up Your First Organization

After signing in for the first time, you will be prompted to create an organization. Organizations are the core workspace in Community Swarm β€” all profiles, servers, schedules, and billing are scoped to an organization.

Name Your Organization

Enter a name and URL slug for your organization. This can be your project name or any label that helps you identify this workspace. You can change the name later from the organization settings page.

Organization Created

Once your organization is created, you are redirected to the dashboard where you can start configuring your bots. You can invite members and set up your subscription from the dashboard.

You can create multiple organizations if you manage several projects or communities. Switch between organizations using the organization selector in the dashboard sidebar. See the Organizations documentation for details on managing members and roles.

What Happens Next

With your account created and your organization set up, you are ready to:

  • Explore the dashboard β€” Learn the layout and navigation in the Dashboard Overview
  • Add your first profile β€” Connect a Discord or Telegram account under Profiles
  • Set up your first bot β€” Follow the full end-to-end walkthrough in Set Up Your First Bot

Troubleshooting

Wallet Connection Issues

  • Wallet not detected β€” Ensure your browser extension (MetaMask, etc.) is installed and unlocked. Try refreshing the page.
  • Signature rejected β€” If you accidentally declined the signature request, click Connect Wallet again to restart the flow.
  • Wrong network β€” Community Swarm’s wallet authentication works on any EVM-compatible network. Make sure your wallet is connected to a supported network.

Email Sign-Up Issues

  • Verification email not received β€” Check spam/junk folders. Ensure the email address was entered correctly. Use Resend verification from the sign-in page.
  • Link expired β€” Verification links expire after 24 hours. Request a new one from the sign-in page.
  • Email already in use β€” If you previously created an account with that email, use Sign In instead, or use the password reset flow if you have forgotten your credentials.
