Managing Proxies

The Proxies page provides tools for adding, testing, and monitoring all your proxy connections. It is organized into tabs for easy navigation.

Page Layout

The Proxies page shows three tabs:

  • All — Combined view of all proxies (rotating and static)
  • Rotating — Only rotating proxy providers
  • Static — Only static proxies

At the top of the page, summary stats show:

  • Total proxy count
  • Healthy proxy count
  • Expiring Soon count (static proxies expiring within 7 days)

If a system gateway is configured, its status card appears above the tabs.

Adding a Rotating Proxy Provider

Click Add Proxy on the Proxies page. In the type selection step, choose Rotating Proxy (marked as “Recommended”).

Adding a Static Proxy

Open the Add Dialog

Testing Proxies

You can test any proxy to verify it is working correctly. Click the Test button on a proxy’s row in the table. The test:

  1. Connects through the proxy
  2. Measures response time (latency)
  3. Resolves the external IP address
  4. Reports success or failure

Test results show:

  • Success — Green checkmark with response time and the external IP the proxy resolves to
  • Failure — Red alert with the error message explaining why the connection failed

Test results are cached for the current session. The “Last Check” column shows when the proxy was last tested.

Health Monitoring

Proxies are monitored for health with the following statuses:

StatusCondition
HealthyActive, zero failures, not expired
WarningActive but has some recorded failures
ErrorInactive or has excessive failures
ExpiredStatic proxy past its expiration date

The summary stats at the top of the page aggregate these statuses so you can see your proxy health at a glance.

Expiration Tracking

Static proxies with an Expires At date are tracked for upcoming expiration:

  • Proxies expiring within 3 days are highlighted in amber
  • Proxies that have already expired are highlighted in red
  • The “Expiring Soon” stat counts proxies expiring within 7 days

Expired proxies stop working. Profiles assigned to expired proxies will fail to connect. Monitor the expiration stats and replace proxies before they expire.

Editing Proxies

Click the action menu on any proxy row to edit it. You can update all fields except the proxy type. For security, the password field is shown empty — enter a new password only if you want to change it.

Deleting Proxies

Select Delete from the action menu. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Proxies that are currently assigned to profiles can still be deleted, but those profiles will lose their proxy assignment and connect without one.
