Community Swarm processes all payments through NOWPayments, a cryptocurrency payment gateway. This page explains the payment flow, supported currencies, and how to access invoices.
Crypto Payments via NOWPayments
All subscription payments are handled through NOWPayments, a third-party cryptocurrency payment processor. This enables secure, borderless payments without traditional banking requirements β no bank account or credit card needed.
Supported Cryptocurrencies
NOWPayments supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies. Commonly accepted options include:
- BTC β Bitcoin
- ETH β Ethereum
- USDT β Tether (ERC-20, TRC-20)
- USDC β USD Coin
- SOL β Solana
- POL β Polygon
- And more β NOWPayments supports 200+ cryptocurrencies
The exact list of available currencies is determined by NOWPayments and may change. Available options are displayed during the payment flow.
Payment Flow
Making a Payment
- Navigate to Billing in the dashboard.
- Select your desired plan.
- Click Pay Now to initiate the payment.
- You will be redirected to the NOWPayments checkout page.
- Select your preferred cryptocurrency.
- Send the exact amount to the provided wallet address within the time window (typically 20β30 minutes).
- Wait for blockchain confirmation. Confirmation times vary by cryptocurrency (a few seconds for SOL, up to 30+ minutes for BTC).
- Once confirmed, your subscription is activated automatically and you receive a confirmation notification in the dashboard.
Payment Confirmation
- Pending β Payment has been detected but is awaiting blockchain confirmations. No action needed β just wait.
- Confirmed β Payment is complete and your subscription is active.
- Expired β The payment window closed before funds were received. You will need to initiate a new payment. Do not send funds to an expired payment address.
- Failed β The transaction could not be processed. Contact support with your transaction hash for assistance.
Always send the exact amount displayed on the payment page. Sending an incorrect amount may delay or prevent payment processing.
Invoices and Receipts
Payment history and invoices are available in the dashboard:
- Navigate to Billing.
- View your complete payment history with dates, amounts, and statuses.
- Click on any payment to view details or download a receipt.
Invoice Details
Each invoice includes:
- Payment date and time
- Plan and billing period
- Amount paid and cryptocurrency used
- Transaction hash for blockchain verification
- Payment status
Troubleshooting
- Payment not detected β Verify the transaction hash on a blockchain explorer and ensure the correct amount was sent to the correct address. Confirmations can take several minutes depending on network congestion.
- Subscription not activated β Payments may take several minutes to confirm depending on the cryptocurrencyβs block time. Wait for the required number of confirmations.
- Expired payment β If the payment window expired, initiate a new payment from the dashboard. Do not send funds to an expired payment address.
- Sent wrong amount β Contact support with the transaction hash. Partial payments may need to be topped up or refunded manually.
